Move Over, Pamplona, We Got This

I've never been to Spain. I'm pretty sure that, should I ever get the chance to go to Spain, the chances of it coinciding with the Running of the Bulls would probably be pretty slim. Besides, I don't know how I feel about running in an unfamiliar location in tiny crowded streets with giant beasts.

But then a friend posted about the Great Bull Run on Facebook. And it turns out, you can run with the bulls right here in Texas! It's still insanely dangerous and you could still get trampled or killed in about six different ways ... but don't tell me it doesn't look like fun. :) So fun that Matt has already — emphatically — told me NO about sixteen times.

He even said no to going and watching! :(

The event will be in Houston on December 7th, and in Dallas on April 4th. And heck, there are places all over the U.S. where you could do it too!

Would you ever go running with the bulls? Or how about just watching?

  1. Oh sheesh. My anxiety level can barely handle running from insects that make their way into my office! If you're considering it, in any way that's even the tiniest bit serious, then you're already a much, much braver woman than I. No doubt.

    1. I was serious, but if my husband is that adamantly against it, well I don't want him to be unhappy, so I guess I'll just have to find some other fun/dangerous adventure to try. The man's been skydiving, but he has a problem with this?! :)

  2. I had no idea this was a thing! Maybe you could just go for the tomato part?

    1. It seems like an awful long way to drive if you're not going to go whole-hog! Haha.

  3. I would probably trip over myself and get trampled to death, so there's no way I would be interested....but it's fun to dream :)
