Things to Do Instead of Watching Sports, Part 1*

Yesterday, while Matt was watching football, I got really restless. I'm not the biggest sports fan**, and I wanted to go out and do something instead of sitting on the couch watching some team play another team. (I was paying attention, I swear.) It was raining outside, so I settled for cooking random things. I had all the ingredients on hand to make Chocolate Granola, and it was something to do, so I made a big batch.

I stuck it in the fridge overnight so it would harden nicely. I hadn't even tried it yet this morning when Matt commented, "Hey, this granola stuff is good!"

And I was like, "I haven't tried it yet, don't eat it all!"

I'm glad that I warned him. Also, now I am a big hypocrite. Now that I've tried it, I pretty much want to devour the whole pan.

So that's what I'm doing today. So much for that cardio dance class I did this morning.

What do you like to snack on? Do you like football?

*I'm assuming this is part 1. Football season lasts for a long time, and then it's followed by other sports that I also don't care about watching.
**I don't mind sports if we're actually going to a game, but TV sports bore me. Also, I don't care to listen to Mr. Commentator Dude talk for three and a half hours straight about something I can see with my own eyes, should I choose to do so.

  1. I love watching football! Well, I love watching when one of my favorite teams are playing. I usually try to find projects (cooking or sewing) to work on during football season to do something productive while watching. I found a couple of good recipes on Pinterest that I'll be trying next weekend.

    1. Ooh, can't wait to see what you make! (If you end up blogging them, that is.) Matt told me the other day we don't have any good football-watching food, and that I should go buy him chips. :) It'd be great to have some better options than that.

  2. I love to watch some football games. Mostly just anything involving A&M. :) I usually surf the internet or work on projects while Corey is watching other games!
