I'm Turning 25 This Week

It's my birthday week! As an adult, I find it increasingly hard to write birthday and Christmas wishlists. If I need something, I usually just go out and buy it. I've had a few things in the back of my mind for the past few months though, so ...

Books. I have a problem, and it is that I can never have enough books. I loved the last Kate Morton book I read, so now I have to have all her other books. The rest are ones I've wanted since my Christmas book list got fulfulled. :)

"The House at Riverton" and "The Distant Hours" by Kate Morton. "Smart Couples Finish Rich" by David Bach. "The Year of the Flood" by Margaret Atwood. "Girl Walks Into a Bar" by Rachel Dratch.

Bicycle. I have this glowy, soft-edged fantasy in my mind of me riding breezily all over town. I must have watched too many hippie movies. I know in reality I live in Texas and it's too hot to cycle around for like, eight months out of the year. But I still want one.

Oversized sleep T-shirts. I still sleep in three enormous T-shirts that I got in high school. They are all ratty and full of holes, so I want to replace them. It's about time.

What I'm currently working with. I can see a few holes from here. It's baaad.

Bracelet rack from The Container Store. Within the past year or so my love for bracelets has been realized, and now all of a sudden I find myself with lots and lots of them stuffed in a drawer where I can't ever see them. Years ago, I got an acrylic earring rack from The Container Store that I love, and I want a few bracelet racks to match!

What items are on your wishlist right now?

  1. I have a fancy bike like that and I love it! And it is too cold and snowy to ride it here 8 months out of the year. Those few months I use it though are great!

  2. Happy early birthday!! I'm right there with you on the birthday and Christmas wish list. I couldn't think of too much, but thankfully there was something that I've been wanting for a while that I could ask for.

  3. Happy early birthday! I'm usually bad at lists and my mom and sister always ask what I want, so I created a pinterest wishlist obard and just add to it throughout the year whenever I find somehtign I want. I read the David Bach book recently and it was good. I went on a financial reading kick and read that, a couple Suze Orman books and the Milloinaire next door, all of which I found helpful.
