Countdown

Three days of celebrating, which included three fantastic meals. We're lucky our pants still fit.

Two cakes. One was awesome and beautiful, and one ... was made by me.



One year older.

      I guess I read that wrong, it's just Matt's birthday, but the cake comment is still accurate.

    I don't know... that bottom cake looks shiny and awesome! What kind of icing was it?

      It was like this ganache-type frosting. I followed the recipe, and it tasted really good, but it didn't help the ugliness of the cake. :)
