Taking Down the Iron Frog

It's easy for me to read other people's blogs and get jealous of all the cool adventures that other people seem to have all the time. But I know that blog life is really just a fraction of real life, so I'm always interested in what people do for fun in their free time. This is what I do in mine.

Several years ago, my mom became obsessed with this computer game called Zuma. Basically, there's a whole bunch of levels where these colorful balls travel along a track. You're a frog, and you have to shoot other balls to make chains of three or more to make them go away. You have to clear all the balls off the track before they reach the skull. If the skull gets the best of you, you lose a life and have to start the level again. The game is really addicting.

Well, last year — after beating the original version — she downloaded the second version of the game, Zuma's Revenge. It was very similar, except that there were way more levels. Oh, and a section called Iron Frog Gauntlet, which is EVIL. You have 10 levels you have to complete, but if you die, you have to start over from level 1. It is super hard.

It even looks evil!

It literally took me months to beat it. But over the weekend, I finally did! And I was so excited I ran outside to where Matt was watering the flower beds, and scared him half to death with my shouting.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

What computer games are you obsessed with? What do you like to do in your free time?

  1. Haha, this sounds like me when I get three stars on all levels in Angry Birds or beat my husband in one of "his" categories (like Punk or Video Games) in Song Pop. Congrats!
