Obsessed with The Hunger Games

If you're anything like me, you've been obsessed about anything and everything Hunger Games-related in eager anticipation of the movie coming out. A friend of mine got us tickets to the midnight premiere, and I am SO excited. I've been watching the red carpet footage in hopes of hearing more about the movie. I've looked up any extra scenes or related footage that may not have been promoted as heavily as the trailers were. I've even watched a couple of spoofs of the trailer, because I just can't help myself:

But I have never been to a midnight premiere that wasn't for the Harry Potter movies. Am I supposed to have a costume? (I probably should have thought of this more than two days before the movie comes out.) It seems kind of creepy to dress as any character other than Katniss/Peeta or someone from the Capitol, since *SPOILER* almost everyone else dies *SPOILER*.

What do you think? Are you going to see the movie at midnight? Have you seen any good clips that I'm missing?

    I'm sooooo excited! I've avoided any clips other than the previews because I want to be totally surprised. I can't wait!

      They've done a really good job of keeping the Games themselves under wraps, even in all the "leaked" extra scenes. I'm sure I'll still be surprised, but I just couldn't stop!

    So excited!! I've done one midnight showing before and I think it was for one of the Twilight movies. Because of Chris' work schedule we're going Saturday and I can't wait! That hungry games spoof was hilarious.

    I'm excited too! I'll be hitting the theater on Saturday, though, since I've got to be at work super early on Friday. BOO. BUt it'll be fun anyway, and I really want to dress up (I'm thinking something simple, like Katniss' everyday outfit. so I don't feel too weird at Chipotle beforehand ;) I like Dana's rendition here: http://www.what-the-frock.com/search?q=katniss&x=0&y=0)

    We are going Friday night and I am SO EXCITED.

    Matt "doesn't like to read." When we were just friends, he drove me CRAZY because he read one half of the fifth Harry Potter book and just... stopped. I have no idea how that's even possible. Ah. Anyway, he's started reading The Hunger Games (the first book that isn't non-fiction since we've been together! and he says he likes it!) and has three chapters to go before Friday. We are so pumped! :D

    One of the girls that's going with us wants to make shirts (probably silly 'I loaf Peeta' quotes or something), and if we have time I'd like to. However, I probably won't go in an all out costume. Post pictures if you do!

    Also - thanks for the clips! I'm nervously sitting here, deciding if I should watch them or not. I think I shall.

    I am so excited! Not midnight showing excited (I would soooo drag at work the next day), but I'm going that Friday and can't wait! And I had not seen that spoof - seriously, amazing!
