I can now officially check off "Try 10 foods I've never had before" off my Life List! I really enjoy trying new foods, so this has been quite fun. For #10, I tried clams. I used this recipe for fettuccine with clams, basil, tomato, corn and garlic.
It was tasty — after all, it's pretty hard to screw up pasta — but both Matt and I thought the clams seemed like an afterthought in the recipe. There were just tiny clam bits all over the place. I could have left them out, and it would still have been fine.
That said, the clams themselves tasted pretty good.
