I love jewel tones and only have like, purple tops and sweaters! A solid colored cardigan, a flowy shirt, statement necklace (not always altogether!).

Oh, and tuck tuck tuck! Seriously the only advice I'd give anyone about pencil skirts. Makes you look lots fancier, even if you're wearing a printed v-neck with it :)Brittany @ Brittany's Joy Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15992690427123689891noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8710921900753150958.post-36545539983177192432012-11-12T12:19:37.320-05:002012-11-12T12:19:37.320-05:00I agree with Jill. I love the non-pencil skirt, and I think it would pair very nicely with any jewel tones for the top, with a nice cardigan.Color is everywhere and I'm sure you could play around with it, and black and white are also a good fall back if you need it. I think any solid-colored (or color-blocked) top -- tee, blouse, tank-- would work with the pencil skirt (plus a statement necklace!)

As for the sequin one, I think you could also wear any solid-colored top, or pair it with a blazer or cardigan to add some extra layers/textures without it getting hyper-dressy.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09168304517522499991noreply@blogger.com
